Within a recent installation at Holy Trinity Church, Knaphill, Creative Audio-Visual Solutions demonstrated the many facets of technology they can provide – covering Audio, Visual, Lighting and network/Wi-Fi.
CAVS worked closely with the Church maximise the quality across all these requirements. Firstly, the visual system featured an 8,000 lumen laser projector for high quality visual onto their ceiling winch screen. This was supplemented with additional Viewsonic side aisle and confidence monitors to provide clear view to the wider area of the congregation and for musicians/service leaders on the dais. A Roland V8-HD production mixer provided complete control for both the in-house and online media requirements from the one piece of equipment with capability for keying images (text over camera/images), picture-in-picture and more. Two PTZoptics high definition motorised cameras were included which can be relayed both to the streaming server as well as onto internal displays if necessary (baptisms/weddings etc.).
The audio system was designed around a full range Electrovoice speaker system featuring EVC flown and delay speakers and EVF small-footprint subwoofers. Matching Dynacord amplification with on-board digital speaker processing alongside the dedicated speaker controller (Allen & Heath AHM-32) ensure excellent coverage and sound quality throughout the building with feedback control. An Allen & Heath SQ6 mixing console with remote stagebox provides full microphone and instrument control fed to the speaker system, induction loop, streaming and recording systems with maximum flexibility. iPAD control over managed Wi-Fi also allows the system to be controlled away from the console by operators and musicians.
To aid camera image quality, multiple Chauvet EVE-series lighting fixtures were specified – maximising the dais as the focal point for services and events.
